adaQuest is hiring a Local Content Manager, French Markets for our client in Redmond, WA.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A strong passion for app content, and an ability to articulate what makes a great app
- Deep knowledge on apps is required (across multiple platforms)
- Ability to determine what makes a great app
- Experience in digital merchandising, online content publishing, consumer marketing or content review / quality assessment
- Testing experience beneficial (but not required)
- Must be able to write reviews crisply and succinctly
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, thorough and diligent
Language & cultural skills:
- Must be fluent in French (additional language skills not including English a plus)
- Must demonstrate deep cultural awareness and country-specific sensitivities acquired through living/working in France
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Knowledge of additional languages are a bonus (but not required)
Other skills:
- Experience with Excel and data analysis; ability to digest reporting and draw actionable insights
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing and prioritizing multiple tasks while meeting changing deadlines under pressure
- 3-5 years of work experience; bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities:
- Be the subject matter expert on content breadth, depth and quality for assigned market(s)
- Discovering new content that will delight our customers and generate revenue for developers
- Reviewing entire catalog of published phone and PC/tablet apps/games, and assessing a high volume of apps/games each week for promotional quality and revenue potential and assigning internal scores based on internally defined evaluation criteria
- Suggesting new content to content category business owners (apps, games, etc.), communicating and advocating high quality apps/games to team members
- Consulting on promotional content campaigns across content categories (apps, games, etc.)
- Content operations:
- Executing on other content operations workflow processes in relation to content quality and customer experience
- Providing feedback on improvement areas to evaluation process
- Other duties as assigned
